They affectionately named him Yertle the Turtle and begged to keep him. I convinced them to put him back by the pond so he could be with his "turtle family". That seemed to work. Between the mouse I found in the kitchen(eeekk!!) and the cat that won't leave our front doorstep, I'm beginning to feel like we're running a pet shop!
