He is our Sustainer

Many of you know that the Lord has seen fit to take our little one home to be with Him. While we don't understand completely the reason for His decision, we can rest in the fact that He knew this baby before he/she was knitted together in my womb, and that his/her days were numbered by the Lord. The Lord is full of grace and mercy, and I am so grateful that we can trust in a Savior whose thoughts are higher than our thoughts and His ways higher than our ways. He is a mighty and loving God. We know that we will see all of our babies again one day! He gives and He takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord!

Psalm 51:12
" Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and sustain me with a willing spirit."

Here are some great pics of the boys I took at the park the other day. They love riding their bikes!

Here's my sweet Sammy helping me pick beans. He can spot them better than me most of the time, and he loves to eat them raw right out of the garden.

And here's my big boy who is growing up way too fast.

The lady of the garden who does a pretty good job of keeping pests away! Hopefully those sunflowers will have big blooms soon!

Some marigolds to keep the tomato buggies away...

Yummy!!!!! Thank you Lord!

A few weeks ago when Michael's parents came down, we got to take the boys to an air show here in Louisburg. They had a blast looking at all of the different airplanes and helicopters. We also got to see some parachuters ( is that a word? ) which was a lot of fun. A perfect day for little boys!

Look Alive, 4 become 5! Announcing Baby Lilly #3!

Here are some pictures of our newest little one taken today! Sorry the quality isn't great, I had to take pictures of my pictures, but I think you can make it out! I am about 8 1/2 wks. and we are so thrilled that God has blessed us with this precious life! We are asking everyone to pray for health for both mama and baby, and that it would be a healthy pregnancy and future delivery. We are so excited and we will keep you updated with pictures as they come!

And as promised, here are some pictures of Nathan right after he lost his first tooth! What a big boy!

A couple of weeks ago when Michael's parents were here for Samuel's BD, we saw one of the worst storms we had ever seen since we'd lived here. It only lasted for about 10min., but big limbs and the boy's pool were blowing all over the back yard. It was unbelievable. But when it was all said and done, we went outside to assess the damage-this is what we saw. It was the most beautiful rainbow that I had ever seen, and it wasn't one, but two rainbows within each other. We could see from one end to the other, and it was right in front of our house! Don't we have an awesome Saviour who has given us a promise, and who despite of the storm, can bring something beautiful out of it? We were in awe.Thank you Lord!!!!!
