" A child won't notice" is a very bad and untrue phrase to admit into your mind. A child will be affected by originality, beauty and creativity. My mom had a saying written on a pillow growing up that said "Bless this Mess". I always asked her why we were such a mess, and her response was always "Because I'd rather spend my time with you doing fun things than to have a perfectly clean house". I need to remind myself of this more often and let. it. go.
